wopee i pick my engine up wednesday

yep im so excited,its a bit late but the wethers been crap here so i dont mind.
so il be fitting it over the weekend and im hoping to go out sunday,

you will have to go steady with that lump in the front mate! there is a yellow westy on pistonheads with a yb cossie lump in it, but he has had it changed to n/a. what advantages would this bring? other than a wider power band.

alot more fun.
mate ive ridden alot of bikes that were faster than my mk so thats part the reason im fitting a cossie,the other part is the mk chassis can take more than 400hp so i want to use it.

sorry mate, i was meaning he took the turbo off his cossie engine and has a 200 bhp n/a yb cossie lump now! i am sure your turbo cossie will be great fun. i was not sure how the engine on the westy would benefit from having the turbo removed?

I wouldn't want to put 400 bhp through the indy chassis without some mods to improve stiffness and suspension geometry.

no the mk chassis is fine for 400bhp mod it if you want to go for more power
