Which Book

Dear Friends,
Which book should I purchase to proceed with my Locost built, I have figured out the type of tubing required, located its supplier, the type on inverter and welding rods that will be used & have found its daeler too.

I have down loaded a number of blue-prints from the net but need the book to proceed. The net gives a number of options- So which one should I choose?.

I am based in Peshawar- Pakistan, and have to do a lot of extra efforts to get what most of you take for granted.

Looking forward to your suggestion asap

Regards

Hamza

I would say buy the HAynes Roadster book. Chris Gibbs (former member of here) wrote it, better book than the original books.

Build your own Sports Car on a budget.

Which donor car is more common where you are? the Mark 2 Escort or the Ford Sierra. If Sierra donors are more common, choose "Build your own sports car on a budget".

Which Book if donor is not Mark 2 Escort or Ford Sierra

Dear Blake you are right neither Mark 2 Escort or the Ford Sierra are available in Pakistan. I will be using a Toyota. That too I will be buying the suspension and engine and other parts in the used parts market.

Basically the used parts dealers go to the gulf & japan by the vehicles that are common in Pakistan from the Junk Yards, cut them into pieces and ship them through containors into Afghanistan and then we go across the boarder to buy the parts.

So kindly tell me which car will fit in to this scene

Waiting Anxiously for your reply

Still think the above book would be best but you'll have to make adjustments for the engine etc
