look what my dad put together today..



I didn't think we were going to be able to fit it, but he's done it today.

He wont tell me how much the pipes cost (took him 3 sets because of angle and position changes) but I'm pretty chuffed.

Engine bay is starting to look really mint

err, what was the problem - you have a 1 ft or more to get the little thing oil cooler in)

haha, space in front of the engine wasnt the problem suprisingly!

Mount points have been tricky as there is very little room for the cooling system and steering column on the drivers side.

The main problem though was the oil pipework as there were some supplier "issues".

ETA - that was the only straightforward way to fit it Alex

Fitted to all XEs apart from in the calibra gsi i *think*

you may want to fit a small ally scoop to push the air through the matrix due to the angled mounting....just a thought

good thinking westf, I'm fitting an oil temp sensor so if things start to get toasty once the engine is running then ill definitely persue some ducting
