Are they magnesium, or alloy?

They are my favourite wheels ever......
They were always referred to as Slot Mags, so recon they'll be magnesium alloy...
If they are Jag fitting and for sale 1st dibs please.........

No... not selling (for a change!).
Saw a set for £80, but thought they couldn't be magnesium at that price!

Hmmm... from the varying info on t'internet seems 6-7kg - not particularly light then!

Easiest way is to apply a blow-torch - if they melt they're alloy, if they flare up they are magnesium.....

They will be aluminium, Mag.alloy corrodes too rapidly to be left bare and be in that condition on old wheels like those.
I had some identical ones on my Scimitar when I was a lad!

Hi
Happen to have a 6*13 alloy wolfrace in the garage and that weights 5Kg without tyre.

when i asked years ago, i was told that mags was just the name, because some expensive wheels were magnesium and hence it was cool to call them
that.
You want carbon wheels really...
