Hi Craig,

Looking very good - always like the Dax for being a little different to other 7-a-likes. Also loving the Yellow too

One observation in the 6th photo from the top - it looks like the top front wishbones might be upside down (?) could be wrong though.

hi everyone, thanks for the nice messages.

the rad came with the part built, the last owner bought it second hand (never fitted) from another dax owner so I have no idea where it originated!

the exhaust is not actually a DAX item, it is entirely custom from my exhaust fabricator. The dax exhaust is fantastic though!

Nick well spotted, the top wishbone is now on the right way up

also excuse the blue hoses, i ordered them wrong and cba to exchange them yet!

just have to wire in the necessarys and fit the carbs (all ready to go) and ill be posting an engine start vid if anyones interested!

lets face it mcerd1's Dax is an absolute masterpiece, even if it is taking longer than mine.

I couldn't afford it, but looking at some of the stuff makes my eyes water!

Its the first time anyoens ever called it that

and while some of the photo's make it look very shinny - its still just a pile of old cast iron granada bits in disguise

looking good, did you decide your brake reservoir was ok mounted on the scuttle or have you come up with a solution?

yes its fine there apparently, but will have to hold it up higher when i initially bleed the brakes.

not perfect but the only real solution imho
