of jobs left to do before IVA prep...
fair play a lot of them are fiddly and some bigger than others
BUT
its only 1 page of A4

well its bullet points with 12pt Times New Roman, about 50 tasks in total - but that does include little stuff like "buy front lights"
"buy rear lights" "fit reverse light switch"

Always good to have a list to work from, I produced a spreadsheet before starting my build and worked to that. I also had this on my wall in the
garage which I would put weekly tasks on then turned it into a 'to finish' board (Sad I know!!)

• Calibrate rev counter
• Fit indicators into scuttle
• Fit wing mirrors into scuttle
• Insulate all connections under scuttle and in engine bay
• Mount brake m/c reservoir
• Mount battery
• Mount coilpack
• Mount EDIS module
• Fit reverse light switch
• Fit handbrake warning switch
• Check speedo cable rotations
• Fit new electronic speedo sender
• Drill and fit gromit to bulkhead
• Route rear loom through bulkhead and into tunnel
• Wire in reverse switch
• Extend brake light switch wiring and fit
• Fit rear wiring into tunnel
• Route temp/oil senders through gromit into car
• Prepare fitment and route choke cable
• Finish dashboard
o Prepare holes for choke, rear fog button, bright-6
o Cover with foam and vinyl
• Finish routing and securing loom under scuttle
• Prepare tunnel for harness fitting i.e. cut away GRP covering bolt inside bolt holes
• Tighten gearlever bolts
• Fit tunnel
• Fit dashboard, wire up all gauges, button and warning lights
• Fit steering wheel cowling
• Inflate tyres
• Calculate RR of wheel (distance covered per one rotation) and program speedo
• Fit harnesses
• Fit seats
• Fit handbrake and gearlever gaiters (and knob)
• Fit accelerator cable
• Bleed brakes
• Wire in low brake fluid switch
• Prepare bonnet
• Fit nosecone in relation to bonnet
• Fit bonnet using aerocatches
• Fit front cycle wings
• Fit rear wings
• Buy horn
• Wire and fit horn
• Buy front lights and bonnet scoop
• Fit front lights and indicators
• Wire in front lights/indicators
• Route front loom
• Fit scoop
• Wire in fuel sender
• Buy fuel filler
• Fit fuel filler
• Buy rear lights (stop, tail, indicator, fog, reverse and registration plate)
• Fit rear lights
• Wire in rear lights
• Route rear loom
• Fit boot tub

i did say "before IVA prep"
something im not looking forward to  but at least ill be able to drive the car up and down my (single car length) driveway

the reason its so detailed is so it feels that im progressing everytime I go in the garage, rather than it taking a week to cross one thing off..
oh dear god... don't break out the project management software! its enough to bring a grown man to tears!

lol it was my dads idea. its a good one too. as you can see, i'm not using all the time line nonsense on it, or the car should have been done in

Good idea perhaps i should do one as i seem to go from one bit to another in no particular order.
its always a case of oh i cant fit that till ive done this oh cant do that till ive made that etc etc
any way at least you know what you need to do

yep if you can get microsoft project, you set up the order that things have to be done in too. so it helps you know what you can do and when.
it still gets confusing right enough...

Been using that at work to, not bad prog (for free). Never use it on the car, but it is kinda useful, talking of which I need to update a project now
Kinda depressing..

God im glad this thread didnt appear last year when we were going for SVA else the Mrs would have been using that.
Come to think of it I hope she never finds this thread cos she'll use that for everylittle job

your well ahead of me. my list starts with finish welding suspension brackets to chassis
starting to feel good about it again now though. can start to see it in my head as a finished car. I've even picked my colour
