robin hood
im just looking for a few pointers on a robin hood im building. its the monocoque cortina based one.

What sort of pointers did you want, it must be a very old kit. I built a Robin Hood Donington which was Cortina front end-Sierra rear stainless steel
monocoque back in the 90's. I don't know how yours will get on with IVA. Cheers Barry

yea, it sounds similar to that. I dont have a build manual and its in a bad way, so Im just wanting to see some pics and know where to start!
what points would it struggle on with iva? did you struggle with sva?

When I built it it was pre-SVA days, you MOT'd it and just took it to the DVLA and they registered it. I remember there were sharp edges
everywhere on the bodywork and fittings. However, that said I had a brilliant time with it. It was very heavy but reasonably fast with a 2ltr Pinto
engine fitted. I would suggest that you carefully read the IVA manual and see how it applies to your car. Good luck and lets us know how you get on

you will only struggle on point number 1 through to 120 the last 3 points will be a breeze lol

I know that many Sierra based monocoques went through SVA. I think the cortina based one uses the front crossmember doesn't it? There are going
to be more problems getting it through than a more recent model, but it should be possible. I'd go and ask on
