Ford OBD2 port
Hi Guys,
I have a blacktop zetec in my car, but i forgot to take the OBD2 port out of the donor.
A quick trip to the breakers and i've stolen another one out of a different car, however have now noticed that this seems different to the guide
i've been using by big_wasa:
BIG_WASA:
My OBD2 port:
Now my first thought was just to move the pins i've got in my port and do it the same as the big_wasa guide, but wasn't expecting the
ports to be different between cars??
Anyone able to tell me what i should do here?
Thanks,
Andy

obd connections do vary between manufactures "Manufacturer discretion: "
this wiki page has some details, and pinouts

These are both from Ford though.
One from a 2000 Mondeo, the other one i can't remember, either a fiesta or a focus or something like that....

That picture of mine is just a generic pic of an obd2.
Just compare PIN numbers.
with can bus.
With out can bus.
