Zetec flywheel identification
Hi guys,
I have a 2.0 blacktop zetec and thought I’d buy a 1.8 flywheel to save some weight but it doesn’t fit, it fouls on a few bolts on the engine as it is
flatter on the reverse side than the original 2.0 fly.
Is anyone able to see what flywheel I have managed to buy here?
The 1.8 fly is the one with the three holes next to each other.
Thanks In advance
Andy

Obviously not a zetec 1.8, all the zetec flywheels are interchangeable because all zetec cranks are the same. might be off a cvh engine...
this is a 1.8 zetec flywheel...

Yep,
Doesn't look like the 1.8 Zetec as coozer says.
Mine (1.8 Mk1 Focus) for a blacktop looks the same as coozers
here
Is yours the same diameter as the original?

It’s definitely not a 1.8 Zetec. I don’t think it’s efi cvh and if it was it would fit by drilling the holes out from 10mm to 11mm.
It looks a little Pinto or ohv to me.
Either way it’s bin fodder.

Thanks for the replies all, I think I’ve worked out what it is, looks like a 1.4 flywheel, think it’s my mistake so can’t be too annoyed apart from at
myself!
If anyone happens to have a 1.8 flywheel handy let me know otherwise I guess I’m off shopping again!
Thanks
Andy

I think I have one tucked away somewhere. I'll have a look tomorrow.
