What are you building / driving
The more I hang around here, the more it strikes me that although the site is called 'locostbuilders', it's probably questionable
that many people are building a true 'book' locost. Nothing wrong with that - not a thing. But I would be curious as to how it all breaks
down.
So have a go at the poll and let's see where we're all at.

BTW should I vote for "book" Locost as it's a +4 and therefore not quite as uncle Ron intended?

Building a Luigi Viento (V8).
(Cos I am Bat Fastard, and cant get in a book Locost
Also building up a large Credit Card bill.
First 4 kit cars were Land Rovers... Big Boys Meccano.  (different Mailing list!)

Definitely a book Locost......
All stainless steel, 4" wider, changed the side chassis bracing,
changed tranny tunnel to match sides (forms part of the chassis),
IRS, engine mounted further back laying over at 45 deg (Lotus)........
Errr.......... Is it a book Locost ??

At this point in time I'm rebuilding an Omega engine (head gasket starting to leak and cam covers P*SS*NG out oil due to middle age spread) and
contemplating getting on with luego Viento jekyl & hyde (it will start as 2.0i pinto, but my boss is the starter at Brayfield stock car track and
knows who might be willing to donate an F1 V8 stock car lump a bit later for some beer tokens)
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

Well it's a challenge
Oh! and I agree, not enough scratch builders. Yes it can take longer but so far it's been a lot more 'Locost'

It's a McSorley 442, BEC (converted to a middy) with IRS and a custom body.
