Noobie

Hi there, just a quick intro.

I've had the idea of building a 2L XE engined Locost for a while and now I've come across an engine that keeps the costs down and I'm ready to begin.

So I'll no doubt start with the daft questions soon.

Are there many Scottish members? any with XE'd cars in Scotland?

Cheers

Kenny

also get to have a chat with Ned and NS Dev. They are both building with that engine and can talk you through the issues.

there are several other builders using the xe engine, though none i'm aware of in scotland. also skippad, billy and stu16v have xe cars on the road. there are also a lot of caterfields about with xe's in, so their forums are worth a visit every now and then.

there is a fair amount of info on previous posts, so a search can yield a lot of answers, but anythihg you can't find, just ask...

Ned.

Cheers for the welcome guys.

I'll search before I ask.

I'll try and pop along to the meet as well, I've never been in a two seater before so maybe I can blag a passenger ride in one

Thinking of going as well - although that's obviously not a locost you see on the left

The locost now has a worthy owner
