secondhand body ??

Im thinking of ReShelling my seiw Westfield would the old body be worth anything ? its dark blue needs a good polish, its been converted to cycle wings so there are holes where the swept ones bolted on(old swept wings would be included)

provided it wasnt too corroded, it would be worth something. Just make sure you perminantly remove the chassis number if you sell it!

It's the first time I've seen an older version Westy-kit and I prefer it. IMHO

Anybody racing one would probably be interested in the body if they've broken theirs. It doesn't look in bad nick so why are you thinking of changing? Get some filler round the holes and get it resprayed if you just fancy a change of colour, must be the easy option.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

a good paint job is gunna cost £600ish a hole new body is £1000ish so if i got £££ for the old body theres not much diffrence

iv been told that the paint chips very easly, i dont want to be respraying it every 12months

the body isnt really that bad but its not mint and i think id rather it red

Panel the sides and back in ali.
Carbon front and back wings from GTS.
Nose, bonnet and scuttle from somewhere else and bob's your uncle.
Should cost a lot less than a G.
Pat...

Looks slimmer and more racey than later shape, personally i'd keep it as it is and paint it.2 Pack will not chip easily and will polish very well if marked, especially a flat colour without the laquer.

Once I've finished a project why do I start another?
