2007 MEV Rocket
Interesting vehicle for 2007. Similar to the Atom I guess but much cheaper. Don't necessarily agree with the comment regarding bike engine
box's and clutches though

I think it was the only thing that they could think of to rhyme with 'Touch us'

I don't think they're intimating that three seats are necessarily cr@p. IMO they're just pointing out that this new two seater is
more suited to the track than the three seater they produce and aimed at a slightly different market.

The ad's a bit contradictory, when you look at the other products the company sells, the ad relates how 2 seats are better than 3, intimating
that 3 seater's are cr*p, but they also sell a three seater vehicle as well.......... hmmmmm..
Perhaps its just their opinion Mark

how much is it???
At three grand a kit it's light on your pocket, there's a clue in the poem there Mark . Are they allowing open wheel cars on track days
now or will you need to buy more bits to finish it off properly.
I think it sounds good when they're waxing all lyrical,
But I can't help being a little bit cynical,
I hope that their car is better than their site,
Cos I can't help but think it's a little bit sh!te.
P.S. It's only a bit of fun, I think the stuff on there looks alright and it's nice to see something being developed like the 3 thing.
Are there actually any runners out there on the road yet ?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Open wheeled sportscars can go on track,
take the Formula 1's and the wings they do lack
as for the website, it is crap that may be true,
but give them time, they are relatively new,
corresponding in rhyme? Now look what they've started,
gonna have to go now, somebody's farted.....................

I like the look of it and the idea of a "locost" atom appeals to me.
I would like to see a finished one not just a drawing of a finished one before i handed any cash over.
I am sure they finished car will have cycle wings or similar.
at 500kilos bike engine would be the obvious choice

as for open wheeled cars they aren't allowed on trackdays, the Mk Sprint R isn't open wheeled it has cycle wings like a locost (7)
the mev 3 looked promising when i read it could be built for around 6k, then i clicked on the factory built models and they go to over 30k,
can't see you getting much of car for 6k then.
Has anyone ever seen one??

Hi guys, thanks for your comments, yes to bike engines if you like, yes to cycle wings (see artists impression), launching at Stoneleigh, prices now
on www.mevltd.co.uk 15% early bird discount for those placing a £500 build slot deposit for kits starting delivery in April. Please see Which kit mag
coming out this month for development feature.
Similar price to 7's but chassis is obviously more expensive to fabricate, looks great though. Regards Stig Mills. Q's on
info@mevltd.co.uk please. quote: Originally posted by chris mason
