Z20XE

was planning on a c20xe in the indy, but i was just looking through the galleries on the MK site and noticed someone has a z20xe which is what i wanted to go with, does anyone know what parts are needed to fit one?

Thanks.
Dan

Whats the differnce between the C20XE and the Z20XE?

If you search on the net for the Z20XE it hardly comes up with anything.

I'm presuming its a newer and less powerful Ecotec version of the old XE... or a mis-named Z20LET turbo engine.

As far as I know the C20XE is still the DADDY!

yeah the z is the current series, i prob will be going z20let but as witrh c series, xe and let are same block / gearboxes.

the z20 engine are very tunable (detuned due to emissions etc)

Z infront = Current engines that meet Euro 4 regs. Y = Euro 3. X = Euro 2. C = Euro 1. Engines without a prefix were made before euro - standard emission regs came in.

Info from Total Vauxhall Mag.
