the anti-pedant in me cant resist
that will be quicker round a track than an m3. the m3 will only be quicker on a long drag strip, so in general I would say the kit car is faster.

I think I'd leave the airbox as is. It will give a lot of people a scare, they won't have any idea what's in there. I love it

M3 won't have a faster time on the drag strip as ^^^ since that's an acceleration based sport over 1/4 mile.
Whether it's times are less on a track depends very much on the track (short+twisty vs long straights).
Quicker conventionally (and 100% of the time in the pub 'my car's quicker than yours' challenge) means top speed.

much better traction in an m3 for the drag though.
unless we compare like with like my horse will always be faster than your pig is fit.
the only way we'll know is by racing them

The m3 won't be better off the line as I've got a race logic traction and launch control system.
