I doubt you would be able to make a good indy r for that money. The basic indy r kit is £3750 then add the engine, gearbox, dash, powdercoating,
donor parts, wheels and tyres, lights, interior, nuts bolts and fixings, IVA etc etc etc. Then add 25% for all the stuff you forgot. Really
don't want to put you off but it surprised me how much things all add up.

If your upper budget limit is 7K that's how much it cost me to get my MNR on the road.
Cheap donor parts were the key to getting on the road that cheap.

Take another look at Road Runner ( the SR2 ) as it may surprise you what you get in the kit in comparison to other manufacturers - hence the slightly
higher initial outlay, but you'll end up with more for your money!
I don't work for them and don't have one of their car's so I'm not saying it out of any misguided loyalty, just know quality
when I see it. That's backed up by the owner who's v passionate about his car and industry etc!

if you could go to 7k you could have a bmw 328 engined legend 6 as they're cheap as chips as far as donors go. or 8k ish for an m3 engined

I'm moving house soon and will be selling my other Bec which is a lovely orange Stuart Taylor Motorsport 2004 with a Kawasaki Ninja ZX9R engine.
Feel free if you want to come over and see it. I'm about 1 1/2 hours from you.
