ned , you dissapoint me

its the MD's car that 959 speedster

its how it came from america - it obviously wont be badged as a porsche .

it will be based on a VW golf running gear with 1.8T engine in the back , double wishbones all round , full tube chassis/monocoque .

personally not my cup of tea .

RH have the best seven IMHO , theyve just not realised it yet .

So the Porche was real? Sticking it on the stand was a little cheeky then.

As for he best 7, could it be the shiney new one (well shiney new chassis) RH have been showing off?

It's a wind-up.

The westfield owner took exception to this and complained on one of the Westfield forums. This got back to RH and they started the takeover rumour as a form of "pay back"

He swears he only told four people, but EVERYONE at Stoneleigh had heard!

Cheers

Chris

The cynical streak inside me might draw the conclusion that the Westfield owners started the counter rumour to discredit the original one.........

All i know is that when ive commented on how nice their RH is to 2 different Westfield owners ive had an adverse reaction and yes i was at a safe distance away, especially when i suggested to the first that his car would make a nice donor for a RH

To be honest if Westfield are looking for a new buyer they could do a lot worse than RH. At least they have good market presence and huge amounts of forward vision. If Ford can run Aston Martin without degrading that brand then no reason why RH cant run Westfield as a premium brand.

Heck,
I've still got a set of moulds for the Porsche 911 Turbo, even got a half built car out back that I've been wanting rid of for yonks. I wonder if RH would be interested?

They may even revive the market, I could make a few bob!

Cheers,
Syd.
