That is ideal for Aston, and may well have been something the new owners pressed for as there is a dependancy on Ford for components, particularly
engines, for a few years yet. At present all engines are made in Germany I think, at a Ford plant. Plus Astons are assembled at a Ford owned facility,
and share Ford R&D.
As for superchargers, that is what they are doing to the DB9 engine to make the DBS as used in the latest Bond film. But that is a V12.
