Hayabusa engine on car gearbox
Saw this on another forum and though it would interest you BEC boys.

Kind of defeats the whole purpose, why bolt a light engine to a heavy gearbox and loose the sequential gears all for the sake of not having to fit a
simple and light electric reverse?
Don’t bike engines do more that twice the rpm of a car engine with far less torque so the gearing will be completely wrong too, totally pointless
expensive exercise as far as I see

Ah Yes but next week they are going to rework a Busa gearbox so you can connect it up to a pinto..........................................
