Ultimate dream spec suggestions library!
I have been racking my brains leading up to ordering a chassis and looking through the usual catalogues etc to come up with a good spec. Then I
twigged this forum would be a far better bet!!
Say someone has a massive budget to build their own Locost (or upgrade it).
What components do you know should be included? eg carbon fibre hollow propshaft, titanium fixings, billet this and that? And where can you order
them?
Hope this makes sense! Ultimate upgradeitis time!

I'm with tegwin, but also a super wide chassis so you can fit decent sized seats, because if you're anything like me (i.e. don't
have a racing shaped a*se) you'll want a bit of comfort too!

Nah, these things are all about high revving inline 4s - Honda S2000 F20c. The rest sounds good though!

LOL Massive Budget Locost. Is that an oxymoron or something. If I had the money I'd just buy a Caterham R500. Probably beat most things
going.

Ditto for me
I would want it painted to my colour choice though with a full race cage, black race suit, boots, gloves and helmet etc.
And while we're at it I'll have my own private circuit with on site fuel pump, mechanics, pit babes, spare car and hospitality suite
