The Garage build locost style

I am building my own garage and thought I would post on here the locost approach I have taken. Will post up pics soon to show progress.

Size is 15ft long by 10ft wide and about 2meters high.

So far, have put down 4x2 timber base. Wood pressure treated. Wood cost free

Frame made from industrial channel, like unistrut but made by Hilti. 2" sectional, structual steel bolted together. Cost free...

Outside is clad in metal cladding panels from warehouse roofing. Cost free....needs painting as a bit messy, metal paint cost free....

Timber floor with damp proof sheeting underneath. Damp proof sheeting cost free.

marine grade ply floor to be fitted, cost free.....

Internal walls will be clad in ply as well.

Luckily Im in the construction industry and plenty of my "good" customers are donating all materials.
Just picked up today corner trim panels for the cladding, 4"x4" ally 3m long angles, 10 lengths 3m each. Will have more than enough there.
Progress to date, frame up and two eteriour walls clad. Will be pulling car out at weekend to fit the floor, then the car rolled back in and front wall clad, will only have a side door in for the time being.

Thought I would post as its a true locost build and so far has cost me nowt which is good. As said will post some pics to show progress....

Interesting. With the amount of freebies you come across I bet you could even build a sportscar for 250 pounds.
