Good day in the garage

I just have to share the fact that i have
had an excellent day in the garage
finishing off my zetec bike carb inlet.
I also picked up not one but two 1.8
flywheels at my local breakers for the princely sum of 40 lids, though one is for jake_truck.

good for you.

I stayed out of the garage today - went mtbing in woods and discovered some more nice trails - and after one steep windy through trees downhill did the "let's put a finger on the disc to see how hot it is"

answer: scorchio!

yep, did that on my mates car, but not to see how hot the brake disc was, but to feel the lip on it, as she was telling me the brakes weren't very good. of course, i'd just driven it and braked hard many times over the 8 mile trip, i should have guessed it would be more than a bit warm... i'll never learn. i burnt my finger prints off on some hot ali right after grinding it soon after lol

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
