Well chuffed about it and the dear old boys even cured my running on three cylinders problem
Just got to argue the toss over what plate i get now i suppose.

Well done, now the fun really starts.
I've used Footman James for my insurance but they have quoted the same for next year.
I'll probably look at 2gether but if you search insurance on here there are bound to be others.
BTW mine is on a Q plate, deffo advantage of that is MOT (at 3 years) can only test for visual emmissions.
Cheers, Pewe

Insurance,

Hi Steve, I guess that it was Dennis that helped you out, looks like Jesus. Try 2gether for insurance, worked for me.

Mike.

The misfire was, and im not the only one that didnt realise, was that we thought the firing order was different to what it is.
So it wasnt running on 3 it was running on 2 1/2! Les and Jamie quickily worked out that the leads on 1 and 2 needed reversing and it sprung to life. The revs shot up to about 4500 and we quickley needed to turn the bike carbs down via the long twidly idle thing. (technical term).
Ill call them both re the insurance thanks.

"So it wasnt running on 3 it was running on 2 1/2!" LOL

It's amazing we got it through the gas test like that, shame there wasn't more time during your original test or we'd have found that and saved you a lot of headaches.
