back on the road II
got tax and driving again..... but a couple of teethihng problems.
- some oil from rocker cover , one of those alumium ones so tightened up the bolts
- think fan is running too much - need to check timing, set at 10 BTDC statically
- some nasty squeek from the back, shocks?
- nasty intermittent screech from the front, seems to be coming from alternator
other
- need to fit softer springs at the back and adjustable shocks
- need to improve brakes
possibly - shock horror - think of selling

aw after all that? did the hassle of the engine change kill the magic?

did you put grease on the plastic suspension joints when you assembled them? otherwise there prone to squeaking
check belt tightness for the alt screach or its probably needing changed.
saying that your car sounds a rightoff and you should sell me it for £100
