Tyre supplier recommendation – when things went wrong, they didn't
Yip the acid test
I got sent some new tyres for my bike and the when the front one was unwrapped there was a weird moulding defect that I’d not seen before going around
about 70% of one side. As the tyre was shrink wrapped in the factory you could not see the problem so its not the suppliers fault.
After e-mailing a few pictures to the company they arranged a courier to collect the next day and a few days later (the tyre came from Germany), the
replacement arrived, clearly checked before being sent due to the cling film wrapper.
No hassles or quibbles from them which was nice and their e-mail reply’s were very polite.
Thought I'd post a link.
They do car tyres too -

I always used Sillet's in Holland Street when I was in Aberdeen. Bike tyre specialist, excellent service and keen prices!

Yeah I could have easily got tyres for half the price I paid but went for some rather more expensive ones due to me using it everyday in all this
appalling weather, there’s diesel and mud all over the roads haven’t dropped a bike yet and don’t plan to either
The new back ones proved very grippy in the wet can’t wait for the front one to be fitted
