Petrol Tank advice
Hi All,
As part of the part completed project I recently bought, I now have a Stuart Taylor petrol tank. And a very nicely produced piece of work it is
too.
Now, I have a bit of a problem/brain fade with it.
I cann't see a way of adding a fuel gauge 'assembly' to it. What I think happens is a piece of clear tube is run from the top exit to the bottom
exit to provide a visible level. The other high exit being a air escape of some sort and the bottom obviously being the fuel out.
Has anyone here used one of these tanks and how have they plumbed it all in?

not used one of there tanks, but ETB instruments do a good tank sender that just needs a 40mm hole saw to fit it.... they have a web site, search
ETB......
here i can go one better...

Durite do one 40mm hole as per. Round about £15 inc vat. These are what I put in.

Cheers all for the advice.
I take it I'll have to give it a bloody good clean and rinse around inside after drilling the hole!!!
