change from a BEC to a CEC... how much is it worth?

If I were to change my BEC(unfinished hayabusa fury) to a CEC how much would I get for my fury, or would I be better off getting it all done.

I only ask as my mate lusting after a alfa 3.0 V6 kit has hit a nerve as thats what i'd really prefer too

I've everything to finish the fury engine/mnr reverse box/props bodywork etc etc however due to the fact i've already got a bike i've been thinking for a while a CEC would be better for me.

Bugger what to do!?!

why did you go for hayabusa power if you wanted CEC ?
i would say you have more chance getting your money back (or most of it) if you complete the build. just my opinion. am sure you will enjoy the busa once on the road. the screaming rev hapy engine is brilliant fun

WHY. get your car on the road first, let the BEC work it's magic, you wont be disappointed.
I went from CEC to BEC and i wont be going back for a long time yet.

If you've never experience a Hayabusa powered Fury, you simply have no concept of quite how quick it's going to be.

You would have to spend an awful lot on a proper car engine (Duratec, SBD Vauxhall, that sort of thing) to get onto the same sort of level.

Seriously, a Hayabusa powered Fury will change your persepctive on 'fast'.

I know it'll be fast, however I've got a bike so I know what 'proper' fast is

I went for the bike engine as its what I know! Guess its a mid project lull! I'll pull through.

the torque and noise of a v6 would be nice though.... when the fury's done I know what my next build will be.

Fair enough.

But in the car, you can give it the full beans from a dead start in first gear and with the right diff, tyres and rear suspension stiffness, it'll lay all of the power down.
Full throttle off the line in first gear, bet you can't do that on a Hayabusa.
More than once at least...

And you've got four tyres instead of two, so you don't need to slow down as much to get round corners.
