Dutton B-type with Seven Bodywork
Hi,
I'm testing the water with my kitcar project.
It's a Dutton B chassis with spitfire running gear.
the engine is 1600 crossflow with twin weber.
I have modified a brand new locost bodywork set to fit on the Dutton chassis. The car is almost finish.
in the sale their is a spare 1300 crossflow engine and a set of MGF wheels (same fitment as the Spitfire)
what is needed :
- fuel cap
- end of gearbox seal (leak)
- bleed the clutch system
- a horn (wiring done)
- some TLC all around
- a paint
- a V5 (no plate, no logbook , couldn't find the chassis number)
I open to offers by MP but if they are too low, I will possibily keep it. I really don't know what all this worst.
Some pics
(here is the last pic i've taken of the car)
(this pic shows the wheels as well)

Ummmmmmm, isn't that going to need IVA ???..................
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

I like the steel wheels in the first picture, are the pictures both of the same car ?

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

re iva...if its still using the dustbin chassis you do not require iva.
Example being a beach buggy with a long wheel base....however if it has been shortened it would require testing.

Here is a pic of the day i bought it. Still with the dutton bodywork and i kept the chassis as it was. I just modified the back of the car to be able
to fit the TVR fuel tank.

Not if the chassis isn't modified - you can do what you like to the body once it's legal so long as the spaceframe isn't cut.

Ah! But:
"- a V5 (no plate, no logbook , couldn't find the chassis number)"

Missed that bit. If it didn't come with a V5, plates or chassis number then it's probably been a dodgy ID donor for an IVA
avoider/ringer.
If you can find the number (if it's not been cut/ground out) then you could get the V5 (and make someone else's life very unhappy).
