Build's now underway
Picked the chassis up this afternoon from Road Runner Racing.
Not had any time to spend on the build yet, but i reckon it will only take a few weeks to complete, maybe a month if i'm going slow
Got the floor fitted and the front to rear brake line, but other than that i've opted to watch the match instead
Best get my finger out now if i'm going too make the cadwell trackday in 6 weeks.

looks like a fantastically strong chassis, how does it compare weightwise to other manufacturers cars?

Nice to see the chassis 'in the flesh' as it were. Very nice.
BTW, what's happened to the build diary lately?
Also impressed with the lift. What width is your garage internally to enable you to fit it - and where did you get it from?

Never heard of Road Runner before - looks like a quality kit.
They are just up the road from my mum's so might pop in next time I'm up that way and have a look!

looks fantastic Chris, I'm sure you'll turn out another top class car.
Is RRR another Martin Keenan derived enterprise? or did they buy up the Sprint R project?

Chris, I'm mightily impressed with that garage.
I too am on my way to building one, put my deposit down for the SR2 and also bought a donor.
Then found out I liked the donor so much that I'm using it as my everyday car! Will have to scrap it soon though.
I suspect that my build will take somewhat longer than your timeframe (sporting crutches at the moment), but am fascinated to see how you progress.
What colour did you go for?

Well it's been a while and it's past the 2 weeks i was hoping for but the builds coming along fine, Still waiting on a few parts to
arrive from various places, mainly powder coaters and exhaust supplier.
Will i make Cadwell in 2 weeks
yeah easy, just need to bolt a few things on, make a few things etc.
Other than 3 switches and plugging in the digidash all the wiring is complete, and if i had the radiator bracket (being fabbed at the minute) and the
exhaust it would be running, plus if i fitted the front brake lines and the reservior pots it would be drivable too. Well if the springs turn up for
the dampers it would be
Still 2 weeks to go so we'll see how things go, but those that have asked here's a few up to date pictures.
