New wheels and new pics
My new wheels and tyres arrived this week and I got the tyres fitted to the rims today and finally had a chance to drive the car.
All I can say is what a transformation! Ride is much more refined, handling is transformed and the grip is brilliant. I can see why everyone says fit
13" rims now! Listen to them, they aren't wrong!
Rims are Compomotive CXR's 13x6 on the front and 13x8 on the back. Tyres are R888 mediums, 185/60 front and 205/60 rear. Could probably do with
wider on the rear, but couldnt stretch the money at the moment and these seem to offer plenty of grip for now.
Job for this weekend is to make some rear arch spacers.

ooOo thats nice, but I always think that when I see your car. Mainly because I know what power it has.
What dash is that by the way? I can see its an LCD front light. Any good?
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

These cars just look so much more 'appropriate' on 13" wheels!

13" wheels give Seven's a delicate look, they look like they're handling well even when not moving!

Looks greadt - That's my next move.
How much did the wheels cost and does anyone know what 13" wheels fit over Sierra front calipers?

Thanks
If you contact Compomotive they will ask you to send measurements of your brakes to them and will tell you if the wheels will fit over them.
The set of wheels were £480 delivered - would have been around £450 delivered if all 6" rims. Tyres were £270 for the set.
Fingers crossed for the weather at Newark!

mate they look cracking! i was debating a pair of those as well!
i can't help but think though you need some carbon wheel arches on the front, i think they would make the car look monsterous!

That car looks a lot better on 13's.
Please beware ,,,,, r888's grip like shxxt to a blanket but please watch out in damp conditions.
Regards Denis.
Where did that go?
