? thats very narrow,
can you not just build up a sierra IRS back end but move all the wishbone mounts inboard on the design?
thats what I have done, my back end fitted with VW 18" wheels with 235 wide tyres is near as damnit 5' wide max
or otherwise I have narrowed reliant axles in the past. light easy to work on, pretty strong, but not that cheap anymore
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

Reliant Regal, Kitten, Robin are narrow.
Suzuki Supercarry 1.3 van is also fairly narrow.
