diagnostic kit
Hello, Im posting this here, cause its sort of still car related, and definately low cost!
I got my hands on a old diagnostics center made by souriau today, trouble is it came with no manuals and the company got bought out and just make
connectors now.
Ive sussed out the voltmeter functions on it, but dont want to damage some sensitive input circuit by connecting something up wrong, so where do you
go to get more info on vintage diagnostics kit?
Or even better has anyone got any experience of this model (1631), id really like to get it to work...
Fingers crossed, although its worth the 16 quid so far by dint that the gas analyser it came with works too
TIA

Most of them assume this is going to happen some time so they build in some kind of protection circuitry. If it's for your car the worst that
can happen is you get the wrong polarity.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

WARNING
DO NOT back probe modern FIAT ecu systems with ANY multi-meter(s). IT BLOWS the ECU.
Enjoy.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.
