I have Finally choosen my 2nd set of wheels!
Hi all,
You may of stumbled on one of my many posts about which wheels to go for. Basically I have 14" and they are too expensive for track days. I
would like to go to 13" but they dont fit my RAW Striker. Due to this I am going to 15".
There are loads of 15" wheels to choose from so I went for these:
http://www.google.co.uk/images?q=cosworth+lattice&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-SearchBox&oe=UTF-8&rlz=1I7GGLD_en&redir_esc=&um=1&
;ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi&biw=1003&bih=563
Other options were Mk5 or mk7 Fiesta Zetec s wheels.
So, the next quesiton is:
Does anybody know where I can buy cheap part warn slick tyres in 195 55 15 or eq.?
What do you think?

There used to be a website called Stickyslicks that used to advertise on the bay. Also just type 15" slick tyres into google or e bay.
Cheers Eric.

Just out of interest, why don't 13"s fit your Striker?

Cheers all, Ill check out them links. I have tried one of them already.
I did fit a 13" wheel to the rear to check its clearence and it hit the caliper and lower hub mount. Apparently you need to rose joint the rear
to get 13" to fit.
I know the dia change will affect the handling on track but the slicks on 15" must be ok. Anybody else use 15" on track?

Don't get caught up in the only 13" will do rubbish. As long as its set up for it you'll be fine.

I had a set of spare 15'' wheels with used slicks for the track.....they were fantastic once warmed up. I got them off a private sale on
e-bay. I think they were used in the early clio races before they went to 17''.
