Ebay issue

Morning all,

I bought a set of wheels two weeks ago on ebay. Collect them last weekend and paid cash.
Then I received a cancellation request from the seller with the note "it would really help me out".

Is there something fishy going on here? As far as I can see it all worked as normal?

Thanks,
Sprout

Perhaps its a case of eBay final sellers fee avoidance?

did you leave negative or neutral feedback ?? if so this may be what he she is requesting. Reply to the request and as them why they have requested it it may be an error on their part. MAke sure in your response that you specify that the items were paid for cash on collection

If he cancelled and you agree to it then he gets his money back for fees from ebay.

Naughty but nothing that can affect you really.

Either way i wouldnt entertain it. If the deal is cancelled, then theres nothing to say that he wont be knocking on the door for his wheels back.

Tell him to rev up.

Except how would he know what door to knock on? Only to be told to f-off anyway.

It's just a cheeky fee avoidance attempt. Can understand it at the 10% it is nowadays! Whether you agree to it or not depends on how Robin Hood you're feeling, and or how you feel towards Ebay.
