I wonder if the wife would let me borrow her Focus
I think i know what the answer would be tho, so best not to ask

Best of luck there mate, you'l have to get a camera fitted to your car so we can all see the duel with hicost from both cars

Bargain! I used to love trackdays on my bike.

Got plenty of holiday left and fancied a day out at Brands so rang a couple of mates with interesting cars and they are all not upfor it/ too skint. Doh!

Just sold my last remotely sporty tin top, the Indys not finished yet and the diesel van......

Might just drive down for a day out and a bit of a snoop round the pits.

If the weathers nice I'll see you there.

Doug

From what it's says on their site (the track day company) they charge an extortionate £10 just to come and watch and have a ride - but you're all welcome.

Got a call from the organisers last night to say they had 11 spaces left, I thought I had missed the chance. Have sent off form today so hope to be there. Would be nice to get a space under cover so will try and get there early and blag one.

Don't think you will get a pit garage - there's gonna be 90 cars there (and only 25 garages), a lot of corporate, and the Formula Women lot from the TV programme (so hopefuly VBH will be there!!). Alan the organiser reconned we would end up down the back of the paddock somewhere.

It's gonna be quite a crowded/queueing type day, as it's an open pit lane. None of the TV lot or corporate have priority though, and there will be a chequed flag every 30mins. But hey - what do you expect for a £99 at Brands.

Zetec - I'll U2U my mobile so we can meet up.

Long range forecast is good though.

Fab day was had - sorry Ned, but they did allow passenger rides on the day as James can testify!! Actually got plenty of track time, though it was all rather poorly organised.

The Formula Women were really throwing the RX8's around the place and driving well - it has to be said - and VBH looked as lovely as ever.

First time I'd driven Brands, and Paddock Hill bend was even more awesome that expected, totally excellent track.

The only incident I had was riping my back wing driving it out of the pit garage at the end of the day - typical!! Still can't get used to the back of the car being wider than the front!

Need to speak to Hicost about the video footage.

Was brilliant afternoon- thanks for the rides Jasper and Hicost!

Can attest to the disorganisation- I blatantly didn't need to have paid as no one checked whether I had a pass or not!

Hicost,
Hope the axle held up to the trip home. Was it the 'C' clip in the end?

Cheers again,

James

Hi Ned we hope to post some video on our web site soon. I think James spent the day at the air show today but we'll work on it asap. We got quite a bit of interest in our products yesterday so it was well worth it. I had an email from Steve Hole - Editor of Totalkitcar.com yesterday to say he was doing an editorial on our products and posting it on his web site this Friday. I hope it's good.

Is her arse really that wide or is it my telly?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Caught Hicost? Pah! They wish!

The best way for him to get F1Camera.com advertised on the telly was to spend a couple of laps behind, between and in front of the Formula Women whilst they were being filmed.

Jasper you were only ahead of him because he was on the way to lapping you.

VBH is as wide as a bus. Up close you can tell she has had plastic surgery - to remove the tusk. What do you guys see in her? She is a Hippo-croca-moose.
