The Burtonpower website gives details of the various Ford gearbox types, including IB5.

IIRC, the IB5 was fitted to most Zetec SE engines (Fiesta/Focus/Puma etc) and the Rover K series engines from around 1995 onwards. They are available in different gearings (I've got ones from a 1.25,1.6 and 1.7 Zetec SE's and there's a noticable difference). Not sure what the actual numbers are though? Not sure if it'd fit onto a 2l Zetec?

Do a Google search for 'IB5 gearbox' and you'll get pages and pages of information.

Later rover mgtfs and some others were fitted with ib5 which is a ford box. This replaced the r65 box which is an older rover box. Was fitted to 1.6s but 1.8 and 1.8 were pg1 box.

The R65 was a Peugeot designed box.

I doubt the IB5 fitted to the K series will fit the Ford engines though, AFAIK they don't share the same bellhousing.
