Rolling Road Results - Big Thanks to Atspeed!
Well, hell of a long day yesterday.
4.30am is way to early to start.
100 miles, 2 coffees and a slightly dodgy charging system later, we made it to Atspeed for 8am as asked.
Pics of the guys at work:
After loads of test runs, jet changes general witchcraft and electrickery, the power runs commenced.......
Final result was 124.9 at the wheels. Not bad considering the Megajolt is running a 2D map, and the exhaust manifold is a CVH one using an adapter
plate. Using the standard equations, thats about 150 at the fly - a 50% increase over the old wheezy CVH
More importantly it goes like a mad thing. Torquey all through the rev range, they even managed to tweak out most of the flatspot from having three
progression holes.
Thoroughly reccommended. They even arranged a battery when the tow car gave up the ghost. Thanks guys!
I've uploaded one of the testing runs to youtube Linky
