robin hoods
i'm just looking for some answers about robin hoods.
1. what is the difference between all the specs.
i'm looking at a super spec how does this differ from the rest.
2. and are they bolted/made very well??

I run a 2B, they are a bit bigger, and therefore heavier than most others of the type, so don't give the same performance, but I love 'em,
as they do everything I want. I can poodle around, and that does me.
The superspec is the same as the standard 2B, but the chassis is stainless steel.
Quality, like most kits, depends upon the bloke who screwed it together.

This is true, but because the kits were more of a jumble of random parts, putting one together was actually pretty hard...
IMHO, for similar money there are far far better kits out there...

Firstly are you asking about the new kits you purchase or an already built car you're looking to buy?

I dont know about the new ones, but i have experience of the old ones, and id steer clear. the chassis was twisted, wasnt square and I had to add bars
of steel to stop the rear springs punching holes through the rear panel...
as said though, I have no idea what the new ones are like, bearing in mind they aint even robin hoods, theyre GBS. From what folk have said here,
theyre much better.

Robin hood owners club is the best place to ask.
Not as bad as people on here make out but very dependant on who built it.
The current Zero is very good, the older 2b is big but has a very substantial chassis made like a roll cage, probably the safest 7 you can be in.
I built a monocoque S3 a while back, it was a challenge but an MK or any other 7 kit seems like an easy job compared.
