It's getting there......

Hi all,

Just an update on garage progress:

I managed to get a hold of some thermal paint, so once this is all plaster boarded, it will get a coat of this. Should be warmer in winter now.

You'll have the local police eyeing your garage up thinking it's a cannabis farm in the making

looks good, top work.

You say thermal paint ontop, is that your final layer? How hard wearing are those boards if they are knocked with a tool etc.

Thermal paint on the plaster board yes. It's fairly robust itself actually.

I would prefer plywood, but garage has cost an arm and a leg so far, so it will have to do and I will have to be careful!

Cheers, put a hell of a lot of work in so far, but then again, why shouldn't I, the car is going to take longer to build.

Your padded cell is coming on nicely, just remember to leave a soft bit to bang your head on.

Just another shot of the roof. I am debating about the lighting at the moment. I have spot lights. Will these be better than the strip lights??

Cool. I will see what the spot lights look like as well as the strips. To be honest there will be no natural light. So more lights the better I think.
