Selling time?
What do people think will be the price difference between selling a car (locost) now and selling up in the spring?

20% I would guesstimate.... The sun plays a big part as people can picture themselves driving your car rather than storing it!

more likely you will get the same price but sell alot quicker next spring.
Such a shame it seems more people are selling on here than buying :O(
upsets me to see the locost world becoming smaller and smaller and .......

Depends on whether it's a project i.e. does it need any (electrical) work?
Certainly true with bikes that Autumn and Winter are dead months as no-one wants to brave the elements.
Anyway unless it's a must don't do it - you'll only regret it later.
Now Crash and Trash aren't being allowed to destroy mine I'd be able to come over and lend a hand if you need it - just don't expect
miracles as my electrical knowledge is limited.
Cheers, Pewe

I'm thinking of it Stu, my jobs changing next year and I'm not going to be able to even play with it for 2 years, plus I've always
liked Spire GTR's
The only thing that I can think of to improve the car now is a LSD, the rest is up together, with a new loom and Protechs just fitted.

The unfortunate reality is that these cars are affected the most by the weather like bikes.
PS. How much is it?

That's a shame, though I must admit I've thought about selling mine as I don't get to use it enough. Having said that I have a roof
now so am determined to see if I can use it in bad weather and still enjoy it!
How come you won't be able to use it for 2 years?

9 months of schooling with 15 months of flying, nearly none stop. I was thinking about the 4.5-5K mark.

I really don't think it matters... kit cars have a base price irrespective of the season and it seems no-one is paying good money for anything
right now.
