New Bolt Hole Piccy

As they say every man should have his own bolt hole.

Well here is mine.

My grandparents garage has stood empty for a few years and gradually got filled with rubbish. After few trips to the local trip, twisted a mates arm to help me paint, purchased some wood, borrowed a saw... hammered and banged... we are now finished.

Insulated, heated, watertight and and the electric door!!!

Let the winter projects begin........

dont even think about that gas heater unless you want your car to rot to bits. the amount of condensation they produce is out of this world you also need good ventilation as they tend to use all the air in the room very quickly.

I kinda like this definition...

bolt-hole - a hole through which an animal may bolt when pursued into its burrow or den.

The fridge was thought about but....

My grandparents fridge is 30 seconds walk away and "autostocks" its self........

After that I did not see the need for my own...

The heater is there for extreme days when it's zero degrees below.

It's a nice size (the garage). Is that blue carpet covering the floor?

Dunno but it fills mine too I thought the avatars resized themselves? Seems to make no difference what size the avatar is, it still fills the screen. Does it take a while to auto resize?

Phil

That's a nice space there, so much easier when you can get right round the car to work on it.

One note, remember the gas fire will generate moisture in there so keep it vented.

No its not a blue carpet..... Its garage floor paint in "Steel Blue".

Yep, the gas heater will get used only when really required. Once I've used it I plan to open the double door for 20 mins to let it vent, before i lock up and buggar ouf!!
