Ford 4X4 CV joint / drive shaft - where to get one?
Hello,
I have a ford sierra 4x4 diff and drive shafts on my Luego and I am getting a knocking/grinding noise when the rear suspension is fulled loaded in
bends. I have no visable signs of wear and have replaced the wheel bearing so am beginning to think that the CV joint is worn.
Any ideas where I can get a CV joint for the XR4x4 or even a complete shaft as I can't find one anywhere?
Cheers
Steve

That's cheap! I seem to remember paying a lot more than that when I replaced mine (similar issues....)

I had to pay a couple of £ more than that to get mine reconditioned ! (couldn't find new ons at the time)
I've got a couple of old ones you could have for the cost of the postage
they are as they came off the donor and need a clean up (see old thread on here about taking them apart and rebuilding them...)

From your description it doesn't sound like a CV joint issue to me.

That's interesting, I gave that company a call this morning and they said that they didn't have one, thanks.
Ok, so put me out of my misery britishtrident and tell what you think the problem is?
