Im Back!

hi all again, i used this forum way back around 2002 to build my first locost, now im back looking for a new project, whats out there?
im looking maybe bike engined, maybe tiger avon?

what books / plans are out there, i want to fab my chassis from scratch etc

have the sva rules changed much over last few years

Haynes roadster is one of the latest build your own. Its designed around the sierra wherethe early home builds where based upon Escort and Cortina Donors. Welcome back

Haynes Roadster is also being built around Mazda MX5 donors which are cheap and more plentiful than Sierras now. Several people are also offering pre-cut flat-pack chassis kits which seem to work well.

Thanks, so who does flat packs? Mx5 sounds good, think I've missed a bit since 2006!
I was thinking of tiger avon, built chassis a few years ago but sold it!, is the new book for the Avon any different to the old one?
Ive just taken delivery of the new haynes book to take a look at
Look forward to starting to build again

I wouldnt say its that much tougher.

(not that ive done either yet!)
