In Car Helmet comms
In July I have a bit of a road trip to make, as we will have a fair old bit of motorway driving, we will have helmets on
im trying to find a comms system that does the following
2 x in helmet speaker / earphones + mic
accepts a 3.5mm audo jack and can send audio to both helmets
a push to talk button that stops the music and allows driver or passenger to talk
any ideas?

Hi there, the systems that the SKCC seem to favour are the autocom sytems which are primarily designed for bike use, which suits open kit cars as they
are designed to cope with the elements etc, particulary wind noise, more so than a rally type intercom which are used in closed top cars. I'll
be looking closely at one of these autocom systems along with some of the bluetooth based bike systems that are around.
Hope that helps

Autocom and Starcom are the brands to look at if you want something that works.
