Feel like I've achieved a lot today...
Although haven't done that much I feel like I made a good step forward today.
This morning I swapped over to my 4-2-1 manifold and temporarily fitted the silencer, need to decide on on to permanently fix it.
Then continues to burn my finger on said manifold after wanting to hear what it sounded like with the silencer on, verdict sound good, burnt finger
not good.
After 3 hours with it in water and then watching the f1 highlights I have just reconnected front brake hard lines to flexis and connected steering
column back to rack.
Now only need to:
- connect rad up and fill with coolant
- connect rear brakes to master cylinder and blew brakes
- sort throttle linkage
- fit clutch and throttle cables
With that done the car will drive
Target is to have it done before my birthday (25th May) so should be able to do that quite easily. Just need to get some suitable coolant hose and
source brake line, though I will need this making up as don't have the right tools
Just felt like sharing as you have all web very helpful with my build.

Still a lot to do. Seats and fuel tank aren't jn properly, harnesses aren't fitted, no dash at all, need new wheels and tires, need a
proper exhaust mount, need wing stays as well and then tidying up and painting.
Also being a monocoque it's not worth putting through iva due to associated complications so strictly track only which means I need a new tin
top, trailer and a towing license! So plenty to keep me busy!
