Looks superb Alastair, the VW and the VX 220 don't look bad either, what sort of power are you expecting from the dyno run

Thanks,
Vx is everyday motor not had it long it's abit of a compromise though in terms of comfort
Power wise not fussed, it has been on the engine dyno and did just over 300 but I'd rather it just stay in one piece and everthing work

Looks superb, really tidy
Let us know how the rollers work out (and yes, it's not the most comfortable feeling seeing your car ragged to the limit on the rollers).

Alternator mount failure stopped mapping, on the long road home now
Plus points everything worked fine, got belt back on so will take it for a mot to see what's what

Thats a shame Alastair, did you get any power figures before the failure of the mount.

Yes,
5.5 psi made 235 at flywheel
7.0 psi made 250 at flywheel
So good power at low boost pressure for a 1.6 I think
Making peak power at 7.8k too which is what I wanted it right up the rev range like a n/a motor

Good result then, 250bhp is plenty to be going on with for now

thank you
yes to be fair it will more than enough i would think as the cars quite a lightweight build
only graph which to be fair the map is no where near so no pint picking faults as yet
