Help needed cycle wing brackets

Hi all!

Managed to snap cycle wing bracket right near the top.

Removed the bolts holding it on and the arches bolt

But the arches are bonded on. Any ideas how to remove the bonding so I can re weld it?! As the break is right next to arch.

Help

You can usually debond thing like these by getting a Stanley knife and cutting along the join. You will most likely need to trace the cut several times to fully release the wing. It may help to use a utility knife with the long, snap off blades as these can usually flex under the metal and cut deeper.

Something like a cheese wire and a sawing action does the job. I have used thick fishing line before.

Have a word with your local windscreen fitter, he may let you have a length on screen removing wire
