Cable eyelets

Hi all I'm in the process of fitting my pedal box and need both the throttle cable and clutch cable to have eyelets on the end to connect them to the pedals. I was thinking of using my existing cables as I know there the right length and just cutting the end and screwing an eyelet on the end.
What are people's thoughts on this one?

Is there a better version?

I cant imagine that holding the strain of a clutch cable, would be ok for an accelerator.

Hi
If like us your pedal box is on the floor MK
feed the cable through the pedal with the existing
soldered eyelet & make your connection at the other
end.
otherwise when the car is built with the panels on
should one eyelet fail , it's then a nightmare to work
on the base of the pedals, buried in the bottom of the footwell.
Good luck

Hello matey im a lift engineer and get the bits made all the time, but for small applications and decent quality fixings we sometimes go a a boat suppliers or similar (we are near the coast so we got lots) They will have a press on site and have a variety of strange fittings all in stainless steel.

Many thanks. I think I've sorted the throttle cable and with the clutch I'm going to buy the Capri cable but wondering if any one knows the size of the eyelet on it as I'd like to put a bolt through it
