GKD- are they still going?
I'm interested in building a GKD Legend but I'm wondering if the company's still active.
The owner's forum doesn't accept new members, the contents are ageing and there's no response on the Facebook page.
Does anybody have insider knowledge they can share?

Yeah they are still ticking along. Peter's on holiday at the moment, think he's back this weekend so try calling then? Peter was
exhibiting at Stoneleigh, so definitely still up and running. What are you looking to build exactly? Road tourer or track car, and what sort of
engine?

Thanks for the replies.
My aims are multi-function:
- weekend blaster
- occasional tourer
- occasional trackday
The backdrop is this is a replacement for my Lotus Elise 111R which had to go to fund the family home
but the family home has a very big garage
I'm looking towards a 328 donor, but could use some advice on options
eg how much emphasis to put on post95 cat restrictions, Nikosil etc.

Mine was supposed to be an Elise replacement, but after that plan got approved I kept the Elise :-) At least until it got crashed into and written
off. It started out with similar aims but it's basically for trackdays now as that's where I find I enjoy it most.
I used to have an E36 328 in it, but switched to the M3 (the 328 was drinking oil, probably Nikasil related, so it was a good excuse). 328 was still v
fast though.
A 3.0 M3 donor might be nice as they are old enough to avoid emissions tests. Or build with a pre-95 318 engine then switch to a 3.2 M3 after IVA?
That wouldn't be a bad strategy.

Isn't the phone the most direct, easiest and most efficient method of contacting someone?
