Isn't it ARDS?

And yes, although i've not taken it, my understanding the practical test is just to ensure competency not speed (ie knowledge of racing lines etc)
Paper test is multiple choice and fairly logical, if you understand the basics as an enthusiast/spectator it should be simple. Learning Flags 100% is the key.

I hear varying things from doing your ARDS tests at different location. I hear Silverstone are strictish, Most people i know have done theirs at MSV tracks where i don't know anyone personally thats failed an ARDS.

Its pretty much common sense and as long as you've done a track day or so before, Learn whats on the CD with regards to flags etc..

Did my ARDS at Mallory, some years ago no problems, very helpful.

I would avoid Silverstone.
Written test is the same wherever you go.

There does appear to be some reports of sharp practice at Silverstone.
Higher than average failures of the practical with offers of re test on the day for a few more quid.

Ask around.
There must be other ARDS instructors on the site.

Did mine at thruxton def thumbs up.
If you read the book that is supplied pretty straight forward.
Don't have to drive fast just safely around track.

Would avoid silverstone def!!
